Wheels of Law Enforcement Police Vehicle Show
Saturday, October 2, 2004
The Police Heritage Museum would like to thank the participating law enforcement agencies, retired police vehicle owners, our sponsors and visitors for making our second police vehicle show even better than the first. A total of 53 different law enforcement vehicles were on display. A total of 32 trophies were awarded at 3:45 p.m. to a number of individuals and departments for the vehicles they had on display. The trophies were sponsored by several generous local businesses and individuals and were a highlight of the event.
NOTICE: The show committee was contacted by Fred Bryant after the awards ceremony, and notified the committee that his 1936 Ford Paddy Wagon was not a retired police vehicle, but rather a replica vehicle. Mr. Bryant surrendered three retired vehicle trophies to the committee, as he felt his vehicle did not qualify to receive those awards. As a result, the show committee has re-issued several awards, and the amended awards list appears below.
